As an experienced teacher, I fully understand the pressures facing students today. GCSEs and A level qualifications have increased in complexity and challenge, and the requirements of the PE specification also demand a high level of technical knowledge and understanding.

I know how to teach difficult concepts in a way that students can most easily understand. My tutoring offers them the opportunity to have individual assistance in focusing on the areas of the curriculum where they are encountering difficulties. They then learn how to study, i.e. how to prepare their notes and utilise the subject specification, past papers and mark schemes to enhance their own learning and understanding. These skills are transferable to other subjects, so are of further benefit to their education.

The sessions are relaxed and informal, so that students don't need to feel anxious if they make a mistake or find the work difficult, and they are encouraged to direct the learning according to their needs.

I am based in Woking, and can travel within a 12 mile radius. Alternatively, tutoring can take place at my home.

 

The cost of a one hour individual lesson is £50.
